BCh MA MRCS
Jon is a Duke of Kent Research Fellow in Burns and Reconstructive
Surgery at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury and the University
of Oxford.
He graduated from Oxford University Medical School in 1995. He
completed his basic surgical training in the Oxfordshire region.
He completed a broad speciality grounding in Southampton and Bristol.
His present two year M.D. thesis is an investigation into the proteins
that cause scarring when human wounds heal. His clinical interest
is plastic and reconstructive surgery and this field has taken him
to renowned units on five continents.
Jon enjoys competitive sport and follows a family tradition of
excelling in football, captaining both school and college teams.
Less serious hobbies include a decade as a 'disc jockey' with a
prize-winning knowledge of music trivia!
